what to do with my 300k - Guild Wars Forums

so i have been cleaning out my storage for the last week and at the end of all of it, i had 300k. now usualy when i get money, i go buy a tomented shield or some other insanely expennsive item and i am just wondering if that is a good idea? i dont wanna just waste the money so what should i do? should i spend it all, just keep it in the storage, invest in ectos, dyes, ect...any advice would be great!

Buy what you want for your characters. Be creative, and mix armor and weapons together. They do not have to be rare to look good.

Save it and go for 1000k + 100k per character.

Tormented stuff can go into HoM so its not a waste.

lol i suggest investing in ectos now, so that when SF is nerfed and for that week or so that everyone is flipping out that they cant farm the UW ecto prices will spike insanely. So, even thogh they are about 8.5k? (not entirely sure on the price...) but they could reach all time highs when that happens... . Or, you could invest and buy some tormented weapons(which when ecto was 6k are what 40e? now that ecto is 8.5k its still 40e. so they are good investments for a rising economy ^_^) but if u fell like just saying F*** it and just buy something YOU want.. not what other think is cool.

Considering that you are unsure of what to do with it, then you probably don't need to spend it. So I suggest keeping it until you are sure of whether or not you want to spend it.

Buy things that would go into your hall of monuments. Once the HoM has the minimum required amount of dedications for the statue to become more visible, go for 20 max titles and buy your sweets, party, and drunkard titles.

This. Buy something that you need, or nothing at all. You are not forced to spend golds if you don't want/need to, unless you want to become even more rich. If this is the case, i think you should do some power trading or such (i don't know how do these things work, though).

Then save the other 250k until you decide on what you want.

The other night I gave somebody an ecto and it felt GREAT.

Buy low, sell high? There's nothing more to it. Sure, you have to know the market, and the best profits are to be made in the expensive regions, but all you need is some money to get you started.

Start another character. You can burn through a good part of 300k buying weapons and armor for it. Or you could just keep it - 300k is not that much. I would feel poor if I only had 300k (although I only have 690k atm)

If you don't know what you want to spend it on, don't spend it. That's poor financial judgement. You could go ahead and blow it all, only to figure out later that you have a better idea how to spend it.! It would be a good test for you to see how long you can hold on to it! Especially with that little devil on your shoulder saying "SPEND IT!"
